Stephanie Young Obituary
The quite spirit of Ms. Stephanie Cleo Young age 59, was called to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday December 20th, at the National Health Care facility of Laurens SC. She was the oldest daughter born to Mrs. Carrie Young Williams on July 26th, 1966, in Laurens SC.
At an early age Stephanie joined the White Plains Baptist Church in Mountville, SC. She was active with the Youth Ensemble Choir and the Junior Usher Board, under the Leadership of the late Sue Pearl Bailey and the late Lillie Anderson. She remained extremely faithful until her health started to decline.
Ms. Stephanie Young was a graduate of Laurens District 55 high school and a lifelong resident of Laurens SC.
She was proceeded in death by her mother Carrie Young Williams and her maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Young Sr., one aunt Lillie Dillard and two uncles Monroe Young Jr and Alonzo Young.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her sister Amanda Williams of Clinton SC, one aunt Ada Beeks of Laurens SC, one uncle Willie Jesse Yount of Laurens, one niece and three nephews. One close cousin raised as a sister Angie Wrice of Fountain Inn SC and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The family will hold a memorial service for Ms. Stephanie Cleo Young on Saturday January 3rd, 2026. starting at 1 pm at the Floyd Family Funeral Home Chapel.
