Mr. Jerry Lee Wimphrie

Jerry Lee Wimphrie, age 65, passed away on Saturday, April 11th, 2026. Jerry was born in Laurens County and graduated from Laurens District 55 High School. He was the son of Ida Mae Wimphrie and the late Charlie Wimphrie and was preceded in death by his loving wife Andrea Wimphrie whom he truly adored.

Jerry loved sharing his love for God and will be remembered for the impact he made on those who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his loving memory three sons: Jerrel Wimphrie, Jerome Wimphrie and Brandon Cheeks, along with two daughters Melea Wimphrie and Nekeshia Wimphrie, and one brother Charles (Sandra) Wimphrie and five sisters Mary Anderson, Elaine Wimphrie, Angela (Randy) Shaw, Dorothy Wimphrie, Arlesia Wimphrie, seven grandchildren, along with a host of extended family members, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.

There will be a graveside service held for Mr. Jerry Wimphrie starting at 11am on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, at the Westview Memorial Park, located in Laurens, SC with Reverend James Cheeks Jr. officiating and Minister Elizabeth Seawright will be presiding.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, April 17th,2026 starting from 12 to 6pm at the Floyd Family Funeral Home located at 202 Caroline St., Laurens SC.

The family will be at the home of his mother Ida Wimphrie, 102 Atomic Dr., Laurens SC.
