Mr. Rodney Eugene "Queen" Dawkins, age 55, of Fountain Inn, SC passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at St Francis Hospital in Greenville SC.
Queen was an individual who was loved by many for his infectious smile and his kind-hearted nature. He enjoyed making people laugh and having a good time.
Queen was born in Laurens, South Carolina, and was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Maude Dawkins, and one granddaughter Ari Pitts.
He is survived by his father, Eugene “Blue”Fuller, and one son, Christopher Devonte Jenkins of Gray Court, South Carolina, and four daughters, Shinece Henry and Jayda Dawkins of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, Shaquela Dawkins of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, and Mariah Smith of Laurens, South Carolina. Queen also leaves behind four brothers, Randy “Roadrunner” Webb of Greenville, South Carolina, Curtis “Sugar Bear” Webb of Piedmont, South Carolina, Kris “Pero” Webb, and Edward “Fapp” Webb of Laurens, South Carolina, and one sister, Carolyn “Big Ma” Webb of Laurens, South Carolina. Additionally, he has eight grandchildren, as well as a host of
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive visitors at: 997 Quarry Rd, Gray Court SC, beginning on Monday, January 8th at 1 pm. Floyd Family Funeral Home is responsible for all arrangements. The funeral service will be held at Floyd Family Funeral Home on Saturday, January 13 at 2pm.
