Rhonda Lyons Obituary
Ms. Rhonda Lyons, of Laurens, SC, born December 7, 1960, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Ms. Lyons was the daughter of the late Roosevelt and Claree Lyons. In addition to her parents, preceding her death, was her twin brother Roosevelt Lyons Jr, her sisters, Bessie Ree Dendy, Stephanie Lyons and Mary "Cookie" Lyons.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three sons, Roderick Williams of Liberty, SC, Christopher Williams of Indiana, and Kendrick (Phyl-Gaither) Murphy of Fort Mill, SC; four siblings, Phyllis Brown, Alice Harris, and Stephanie Lyons of Laurens, SC, and Tony Lyons (Tracy) of Gray Court, SC., and ten grandchildren.
Ms. Lyons attended the Laurens County Public School system and worked in the retail and manufacturing industries for many years. She was a faithful member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed sewing as well.
Visitation will be held at the Floyd Family Funeral Home starting at 12 pm to 4 30pm on Tuesday December 12th.
Funeral Services for Ms Lyons will be held on Wednesday, December, 13th at 1 pm at the Floyd Family Funeral Home, 202 Caroline St, Laurens SC, 29360.
