In Loving Memory of Ms. Mary Lynn Carter- November 29, 1983- June 26, 2025
Mary Lynn Carter lived with her whole heart. She was funny, fun loving and full of life. A woman who cared deeply, gave freely and always looked out for others, no matter the cost. She loved the warmth of the sun, the calm of the water and sharing meals especially Mexican food, with the ones she loved. Her favorite color was green, a reflection of how she lived: vibrant, full of growth and deeply connected to life.
More than anything Mary loved her family. She was a devoted wife to Carlton Blake Carter and a loving mother to six children Jayden Thomas, Carlton Ja'Tahj Carter, Gayelynn Carter, Ahijah Carter, Jahurnie Carter and Maryele Carter. She recently became a proud grandmother to Xior Simpson, a joy that lit up her heart in a brand-new way.
About ten years ago Mary experienced a deep blessing, she found the part of her family she'd always longed for in Oklahoma City and San Antonio. She reconnected with her father and loving family who welcomed her with open arms and overflowing love. It meant everything to her.
Mary shared a lifelong bond with her Aunt Renee, who was more like a mother than an aunt, along with her cousin Jeff, who stood by her side like a brother always there-always steady.
Mary's life was marked by compassion and courage. She had a heart that ran toward those in need, and she never hesitated to help. That's who she was steady, selfless and full of love.
Though her time was far too short, her faith in Jehovah and her love for others leave a legacy that cannot be undone. We find peace in the promise that Jehovah remembers her and that in His time she will rise again (John 5:28-29). Until then we carry her in everything laughter, in the way we care for one another and in the quiet strength she left behind. Mary was deeply loved, and she will forever be missed
Please join the family in celebrating her life and the hope she cherished this Saturday, July 12th at 2:30 pm @ Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 727 Whelon Rd, Laurens SC 29360.
