Mr. Jairus Mickale Byrd, age 35, of Waterloo, SC, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at Laurens County Hospital of Laurens, SC. He was preceded in death by his mother Michelle Byrd. Jairus previously attended school in the Laurens County School District, and was most recently employed with McDonald's Corporation.

Jarius leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Shavista Byrd of Columbia, SC; Uncles: Gerald R. (Benetta) Byrd, Sr. of Simpsonville, SC; David Little Jr. of Laurens, SC; Eric (Wanda) Little of Simpsonville, SC; Blake Green of Spartanburg, SC; Aunts: Theresa Little of Clinton, SC; Tanjanita Young of Laurens, SC; Felicia (Vince) Franklin of Laurens, SC; Godfather: Rev. Sylvestor Grant of Waterloo, SC, several great-uncles and aunts, nephews, nieces, a host of cousins, and close family friends.

The family will take limited visitors at 88 Smyrna Hill Road, Waterloo, SC 29384, and also at 1191 Charlottes Road, Clinton, SC. Floyd Family Funeral Home of Laurens, SC will be responsible for the arrangements. Visitation will be held at Floyd Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 10:00am -6:00pm. A private service will be held at Floyd Family Funeral Home on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 1:00pm.

Livestreaming access will be available during the private service for those family and friends not attending the private service.
