Mr. Bobby Joe Turner received his eternal wings on Sunday February 17, 2025. His was born on February 27, 1953, in Laurens SC. Bobbie was a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend who touched countless lives along the way.
Bobbie Joe was known for his straightforwardness and remarkable sense of caring for those around him. A man of immense strength and character, Bobby Joe worked many years at the Bettie Plant and lived life on his own terms and was an extremely hardworking family man.
He was preceded in death by his father Evins Turner and his mother Esther Turner and his brother Arthur Turner.
Bobby's memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife Patricia Turner (Gray Court). His daughter Latricia Simpson (Gray Court), his son Marcus Mathis (Laurens SC), stepson Antonio Jenkins (Greenville SC) and his two grandsons Trenton and Timothy Simpson of the home and his grandkids , Antonie, Antorio, Antonio Jr., Antonasia Jenkins of Greenville He will also be truly missed by his two sisters Lula Bell Turner and Annie Bell Kennedy both of Gray Court SC, along with his brother Jackie (Sandra) Turner of Gaffney SC.
Services for Mr. Bobby Joe Turner will be held Sunday at 2 pm at the Floyd Family Funeral Home located in Laurens SC and Reverand John Booker will be delivering the eulogy.
The visitation will take place at Floyd Family Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 22, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The family will receive visitors at their home, located at 495 Gray Dr ,ext , in Gray Court SC.
The Floyd Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
