Amanda Reid (Blakely) Blakely

Ms. Amanda Reid Blakely from Laurens SC was born on September 14th, 1979, to Ms. Ruth G Blakely and the late Mr. John David Blakely, also of Laurens SC.

Amanda had an unbelievable giving heart and always willing to help others. She brightened the day of so many even with her health failing, there was never a dull moment when she was around.

Ms. Amanda Reid Blakely received her heavenly wings to the heavens above on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 at the Greenville Post Acute Care located in Greenville SC at the age of 45. She was preceded in death by her father John David Blakely and her son Kavarjia (Budda) Blakely.

Amanda leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving mother Mrs. Ruth G. Blakely of Laurens SC and her daughter, Mi-Lyric Brown of Laurens, SC. She leaves behind her devoted sister Carla D Blakely of Laurens SC and her brother John D. (Cherron) Blakely Jr of Maryland. 3 nephews Meshack (Endiaa) Blakely of Simpsonville, SC,, Wesley (Micheala) Blakely of Simpsonville, SC and Christopher Blakely of Pennsylvania, along with two nieces Brittany and Tiffany Blakely of Maryland.

She had a light inside of her that she wanted to let it shine everywhere and to everyone, including her family and friends. Amanda will be truly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Amanda Blakely's memorial service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, May 10th. Services will be held at the Floyd Family Funeral Home, located at 202 Caroline St, Laurens SC.
