Lorie Ann Posey Obituary

Ms. Lorie Ann Posey was born May 18th, 1963, the only daughter born to the late John Posey and Earleen Beeks.
She had an unbelievable giving heart. Her mom would always say, “Lulu,” as she was lovingly called by family and friends, “will give away the house if she could.” She brightened the day of so many others with her comical presence; there was never a dull moment when Lule was around.

Ms. Lorie Ann Posey received her ticket for the train ride to the heavens above on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Prisma Health Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina and entered Eternal Rest at the age of sixty-one.

Lulu leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Lamile Posey of Greenville, SC; her two sons: Troy Posey and Travis Posey; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three loving brothers: Alvin Posey of Simpsonville SC, Curtis (Regina) Posey of Easley SC, and John Wesley (Sandra) Posey of Ft. Inn SC; a special friend, James Burnside of Greenville, SC; and a host of extended family, and friends.

She was woman that could take a little of nothing and turn it into something. She had a light inside of her that she wanted to let it shine everywhere to everyone, including her family and friends. Lorie will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Her services will be held Saturday, March 29th at the St. John United Methodist Church located at 10 Pine Creek Dr, Greenville SC at 11 am. The Reverand Michael Thurmond of the St. John Methodist Church will be delivering the words of comfort.
