George Wade Ferguson Obituary

Mr. George (Jeek) Wade Ferguson Jr, age 73, was born on May 20th, 1952, in Laurens SC. Mr. Ferguson passed away and entered Heavens Gates on Thursday September 25th, 2025, at Prisma Health Memorial Hospital.

George was a long-time faithful member and trustee of St. Paul 1st Baptist Church located in Laurens SC. George loved to sing and was a member of the St. Paul all male choir. His church family will truly miss his presence every Sunday morning. He was the first one you would always see upon entering the church. George leaves love ones behind to cherish his memories including a sister, Ms. Jannie F. Johnson of Greer and a brother, Amos G. Ferguson of Laurens. George was raised from childhood in the home of Ms. Ceola Crisp (Laurens), whom he called mom, who raised him as her own along with her daughter Ms. Louella W. Watson.

Family Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd,2025 in the Floyd Family Funeral Home Chapel from 11 am to 12. No other public service.
