Mrs. Barbara Anne Williams Reeder was born April 19, 1952, to the late Mr. Thomas Otto Williams, Sr. and Lula Mae Dendy Williams in Salisbury, NC. After a steady decline in her health, she peacefully transitioned from this life on October 8, 2023 in Simpsonville, SC.

Barbara was blessed with two daughters, Twanda (Keith) Saxon and Rona (Oral) Neely; eleven grandchildren, Lamar Williams, O'Byan Copeland, Janelle Copeland, Ciera (Travis) Cohen, Kiyania (Don) Brown, Octavious (Eloise) Neely, Ontravious (Patrice) Neely, Shantil White, Kimaya Shaefer, and Zyearia Jiles-Saxon. One granddaughter, Tiera Williams, preceded her in death. Barbara's branches extend to fourteen great-grandchildren who will carry on her legacy.

Barbara leaves her love with her devoted husband of twenty-five years, Melvin Reeder. Through this union, she was blessed with one stepdaughter, Sarah Lomax, one stepson, Brandon Hill, and eight step-grandchildren. Barbara has one sister-in-law, Cassandra (Arthur Lee) Philson, and two brothers-in-law, Sammie Reeder and Willie "Dutlo" (Stacey) Grant, Jr. She loved her mother-in-law, Dora Grant, who supported and cared for her dearly. One brother-in-law, Willie Gene Wilson, preceded her in death.

Barbara was mostly known as "Barb" by her closest friends and family. She had five siblings. Two brothers, Thomas 0. Williams, Jr. and Timothy A. Williams preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her dearest and only sister, Jessie Boyd, two brothers, Derrick B. (Dee) Williams and Mark A. (Yvette) Williams, and a host of nieces and nephews. Her dear brother-in-law, William "Billy" Boyd recently preceded her in death.

The family will accept visitors Tuesday, October 10 – Friday, October 13, between 4 -8 pm at 204 Forked Oak Way, Fountain Inn, SC 29644. Cards, flowers, and other expressions of love may also be received at Floyd Family Funeral Home, 202 Caroline Street, Laurens, SC 29360.
